How messages protect Scouts
No private threads with Scouts, ever.
For: Everyone- Every message to a Scout is copied to that Scout's parents and to the troop's designated leaders.
- Messages are saved permanently. Nobody can edit or delete them, including admins and our staff.
- Replies to emails that involve a Scout come back into the app, not to anyone's personal inbox.
- Only a parent or guardian can ask to delete their child's data.
- Leaders with access to the message log can review it; each look at it is recorded.
