Send a message
Write to the whole troop, a group, an event's families, or chosen people.
For: Leaders- Go to Messages → New message.
- Choose who it's for.
- Write it and choose Send.
Who you can send to
- Everyone active in the unit
- All Scouts (parents and leaders get a copy)
- All parents and guardians
- All adults
- Everyone going to an event
- Families who haven't replied to an event
- Families who owe money (parents only; also open to the treasurer)
- A patrol (patrol leaders can message their own)
- Pick people
Tip: If several group messages already went out this week, you'll see a reminder. Families tune out when there are too many.
